Dublin Airport saw its first monthly drop in passenger numbers in over five years last month.
2.2 million passengers travelled through the airport in November - a 1% decrease compared to November 2018.
It's the first monthly drop since March 2014.
Explaining the decline, DAA pointed to airlines withdrawing services or reducing capacity on their existing routes during winter.
The largest decline was on domestic routes, where there was a 25% drop in passenger numbers.
Transatlantic traffic to and from North America declined by 4%, while traffic to and from other international destinations - including the Middle East and Africa - decreased by 11%.
There was a 2% decrease on routes between Ireland and the UK, but a 2% increase for European routes.
Airport authorities said there has still been a 5% increase in passenger numbers overall in 2019 compared to last year - with a total of 30.6 million passengers in the year to November.
Routes suspended to and from Dublin Airport for the winter include Cathay Pacific's direct Hong Kong flights, which were temporarily suspended from last month until March 2020.
