Dublin Bus engineering operatives will suspend industrial action over pay immediately.
The company’s SIPTU members had implemented a work-to-rule since Sunday in a dispute seeking a 14% pay increase.
Both parties have agreed to meet again on Monday to try and find a full resolution.
SIPTU’s John Murphy said pay increase negotiations have to continue.
“Well, look, I think the company realised there has to be an increase, it's the level of increase that we have to try and negotiate,” he said.
“Some of our reps might have been unhappy, you know, in fairness, they have to go back to their members in the garage and explain this, so I can understand the position they were in.
“But look, we were uniform on the decision that this would be suspended for seven days.”
Dublin Bus has again apologised for a delay to services since the work-to-rule began on Sunday.
