A construction site in Dublin city centre has been temporarily closed after some workers tested positive for COVID-19.
One member of staff at the Townsend Street site was confirmed to have the virus initially, while further testing found a number of other cases.
The company says it's now working closely with the HSE to arrange further testing as it's needed.
In a statement, John Paul Construction said: "Following confirmation that a staff member on one of our construction sites in Dublin had tested positive for COVID-19, comprehensive testing has identified a number of additional positive cases.
"We have followed the specific advice of the HSE and the Health and Safety Authority at all times in relation to this matter and are assisting the HSE in arranging further tests as required.
"We have temporarily closed the site as advised by the HSE."
They also wished all those affected a speedy recovery.
Local Councillor Kevin Donoghue wants tests offered to people in the wider community too.
He said: "It stands to reason that people would be using shops and moving around the community.
"What I would be concerned about in relation to people living in the area is that they would be able to have access to testing as well."
