One Dublin hotel is offering a special deal for customers who can prove that they won't be paying their water charges.
According to a Facebook post by the Charleville Lodge Hotel in Phibsboro, the discount will require the Irish Water application form to be presented as a paper aeroplane:
"If you present your ”ª#IrishWater”¬ application form on check in at our hotel in the form of a paper airplane, we will give you a 50% discount on your room rate."
However, there's a bit of creativity required too:
"You need to be imaginative with your airplane though. I don't want any lame attempts!"
It's not the first time the hotel's Facebook page has garnered attention due to its outspoken manager.
The page contains a number of rants aimed at rude or difficult customers, and last year mistakenly reported that the Garth Brooks concerts would be going ahead in Croke Park.
