A Dublin man who was extradited from Amsterdam has pleaded guilty to engaging in violent disorder in a Dublin city pub in 2013.
Frederick Thompson (33) of Loreto Road, Maryland in Dublin 8 was sent forward from the District Court accused of engaging in violent disorder along with two other named men at Morrissey's Pub, Cork Street on January 7th, 2013.
Today Thompson - wearing a t-shirt and track suit bottoms - entered a guilty plea at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.
Judge Mary-Ellen Ring remanded Thompson in custody until his sentence hearing in February 2nd 2015.
On a previous occasion, defence counsel Sandra Frayne BL said her client has no income and is supported by his mother who works as a street trader.
Judge Ring granted her request for legal aid and a senior counsel.
One man is still before the courts in relation to the same incident and is awaiting trial, while a third has pleaded guilty to the same offence as Thompson.
