Protesters attended the scene as Gardaí disbanded a migrant camp on Dublin’s Grand Canal this morning.

The camp of around 60 tents was located outside a closed office block on the north side of the canal, near Charlemont Street.

The tents had been pitched there for the past three weeks.

Metal barriers have now been erected outside the offices after the tents were cleared this morning.

Around 20 gardaí were involved in the operation.
