A local petrol station in Dublin will offer shelter to homeless people during Storm Dennis.
The Maxol garage in Dolphin's Barn says anyone in need is welcome to its shop for food and shelter until the storm passes.
The store said the invitation has been extended for the whole weekend.
They said: "You see how extremely bad the weather is outside.
"We're doing this for the whole weekend, so we're inviting anyone who's homeless who've no families or no one to look after them to take them in and give them a cup of tea and a ham and cheese sandwiches and we have pastries too if they're not into the sandwiches."
Met Éireann has extended its status orange wind warning with 11 counties now on alert this weekend as Storm Dennis tracks across the country.
The forecaster issued a weather advisory warning that the storm will bring wet and very windy weather this weekend and into Monday.
Severe gusts of up to 120 km/h are expected, with a risk of coastal flooding.
Status yellow wind and rain warnings are in place nationwide until 8pm and 9pm tonight, respectively.
A status yellow wind warning is also in place in Waterford and Wexford until 8pm.
A further orange alert has been issued for Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick from 10am until 10pm tomorrow.
