Protesters in Dublin City Centre say there is hope that Ireland’s new abortion laws can be overturned.
Thousands of people attended the Rally for Life march in the capital this afternoon.
The campaigners marched from the Garden of Remembrance to the Customs House calling for another abortion referendum.
Last year, Ireland voted 64% in favour of repealing the Eighth Amendment – allowing the Government to legislate for the introduction of abortion services.
Abortion was officially legalised at the start of this year.

These protesters said they will continue to demonstrate against the new laws.
“There are no human rights without everyone having human rights,” said one.
“I think no matter how poor your circumstances might be at the beginning of your life – to have that gift is the most basic of human rights,” said another.
The demonstrators said they are working towards a world that doesn’t want to make abortion illegal, but rather one that “makes it unthinkable.”
