A restaurant in Rathmines says Dublin City Council has forced it to remove a mural aimed at supporting Palestine.
In a social media post, Shaku Maku restaurant says it's disappointed it has been forced to paint over the flag and image of a child, and replace it with a plain black wall.
"We’re so disappointed to that Dublin City Council forced us to paint over our beautiful Emmalene Blake mural," a post from Shaku Maku reads.
The post continues: "At the time of painting around 4,000 innocent children had been killed. Since then it’s around 16,000.
"But at least Dublin City council has its plain blank wall back."

Another post cites the city's planning permission guidelines: "Here is our blank wall that now meets the cities planning permission guidelines."
Dublin City Council has not responded to requests for a statement.
