A man has appeared in court accused of setting a Garda patrol car on fire during the Dublin riots in November.
Another man was also today brought to court on charges of burglary and violent disorder on the night of the riots.
27-year-old Declan Donaghey, from William’s Place, Upper Dorset Street, Dublin 1 is accused of setting a marked Garda car on fire.
He’s also accused of damaging another Garda vehicle, of throwing something through the front window of a business and of violent disorder.
All of the offences are alleged to have taken place on Parnell Street on the night of the Dublin riots on November 23rd.
Separately 18-year-old Kyle Lawrence, of Lurgan Street, Dublin 7 is facing charges of criminal damage and violent disorder as well as burglary charges at Footlocker, Arnotts, JD Sports, Lifestyle and Asics.
Both men were granted bail today and are due back in court in April.
