The Tánaiste has described the death of a man in Dublin city centre as "alarming, shocking and deeply concerning".
A murder investigation is underway after a stabbing on South Anne Street in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The man in his 30s was found with serious knife injuries and died after being brought to hospital.
A second man was injured and has been treated at St. James's Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Speaking in Munich, Simon Harris says the Justice Minister is making efforts to keep the capital’s streets safe.
“He’s been kept updated on a regular basis by the Garda Commissioner in relation to this,” he said.
“And also working tirelessly with Government colleagues to increase the number of Gardaí on the streets of Dublin - and, indeed, right across the country.
“I’m very conscious there’s an active ongoing murder investigation that has now been opened in relation to this issue… and we need to obviously let that murder investigation proceed.”
Gardaí have asked that anyone in the vicinity of South Anne Street/Duke Lane Upper on Saturday between 2.45am and 3.30am on Saturday to contact them.
