As Dublin gears up for Madonna at Aviva Stadium tonight we are being reminded of traffic restrictions in the city.
Gates open at 6pm for the show which begins at 7:30pm.
There are 5 entry routes: at Shelbourne Road, Lansdowne Lane, Lansdowne Road, Herbert Road and Bath Avenue.
Traffic restrictions will be in place from 3pm this afternoon until after the event at around midnight.
The stadium which reopened back in May 2010 has a seated capacity of 51,700.

Lansdowne Road Both sides from Shelbourne Road to Herbert Bridge. Herbert Road Left side from Herbert Bridge to Tritonville Road. Lansdowne Lane Left side from Shelbourne Road. Shelbourne Road – Both sides from Shelbourne Avenue to The Podium Entrance. Havelock Square – Right side from Bath Avenue to the Entrance Gate. Northumberland Road – Both sides from Lansdowne Road to Haddington Road.
There is no parking available on site and there is very limited parking in the area, so patrons are strongly advised to utilise public transport.

The easiest way to travel directly to the ground is to take the DART. The line actually runs under the West stand of the stadium and stops at Lansdowne Road Station itself.
From Dublin city centre visitors to Aviva Stadium can take the DART southbound from Pearse Station on Westland Row, Tara St Station or Connolly Station. Connolly Station provides a link with the LUAS.

The main bus routes that serve Ballsbridge from the city centre are the 7 and 8, 45 and 84.

From Nassau Street at Trinity College travel along Merrion Square and Lower Mount Street. Cross the canal and continue along Northumberland Road to the second set of lights. Turn left onto Lansdowne Road. Continue through the next junction. Aviva Stadium is on your left.
