Huge crowds have gathered in Dublin today as part of a mass protest against water charges.

The demonstration caused traffic disruption across the city, from Nassau to O'Connell Street. Gardaí blocked off Kildare Street, while thousands flocked to hear speakers at the stage in Merrion Square.
