There has been another new adorable addition to Dublin Zoo as two of their lions just gave birth to a gorgeous male lion cub.

Just a few weeks before the little asian lion cub joined the Dublin Zoo family, they welcomed a new Asian elephant calf.

The cub was born to mother Kuri and father Kumar, who were relocated to Dublin Zoo from Rotterdam Zoo in the Netherlands last year.

Asian lions are critically endangered, with less than 350 currently still in the wild.

The new cub's birth has been regarded a great success for the international breeding programme for this critically endangered species.
