A Dublin gangland criminal has been jailed for 21 years in the UK
54-year-old Thomas Kavanagh of Tamworth in Staffordshire, who is originally from Dublin, was described as the head of an organisation that imported drugs worth €35m into the UK.
He was sentenced today at Ipswich Crown Court along with two other men.
39-year-old Gary Vickery of Solihull was sentenced to 20 years while 43-year-old Daniel Canning, also with an address in Solihull was jailed for 19 years and 6 months.
All three had admitted at an earlier hearing to conspiring to import class A and B drugs, and money laundering.
Judge Martyn Levett, said the operation was of a "commercial scale"
