The 1969 orange Dodge Charger, best known to fans as the General Lee, still remains a popular model toy to a new generation of fans of the hit series.

Warner Brothers Consumer Products, the branch of the movie studio that controls licence toys for the show confirmed the move.

The company said they had elected to cease the licensing of these product categories.

The move follows, Alabama’s Governor ordering the Confederate flag to be taken down outside the state capital on Wednesday.
