A 28-year-old man has appeared in court charged in connection with an incident at a graveyard in Co Louth on Sunday.
James McDonagh of Glenmore Park, Muirhevnamore, Dundalk faces two charges.
He appeared before Drogheda District Court this morning wearing a grey hoodie, tracksuit bottoms and runners.
The 28-year-old is charged with dangerous driving and the unlawful use of a car.
Both offences are alleged to have taken place at St Patrick’s Cemetery, Dowdallshill, Dundalk on Sunday afternoon.
Garda Sean O’Callaghan gave evidence of arresting and charging the accused this morning.
Gardaí objected to bail on a number of grounds.
Judge Dermot Dempsey remanded Mr McDonagh in custody to appear again at Cloverhill District Court next Tuesday.
