Dunnes Stores is recalling three newborn baby sleepsuits over a ‘safety issue’.

In an advertisement in today’s Irish Independent, the store said the issue relates to zip sleepsuits with bunny, lion and ‘animal’ designs.

The suits are made for babies from when they are born until they are 18 months old.

The Dunnes Stores product recall published today.

“We are issuing a product recall in respect of these products,” the notice states.

“You can return the products to your local store for a full refund.”

• The Bunny Zip Sleepsuit has the ‘style number’ 6421432.
• The Lion Zip Sleepsuit has the style number 6421433.
• The Animal Sleepsuit has the style number 6421434.

The chain has apologized for any inconvenience.
