Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a hit-and-run in Ballybough, Dublin 3, that left an e-scooter user in hospital on Tuesday night. 

The collision between the car and e-scooter happened at the junction of Ballybough Road and Spring Garden Street around 11pm on May 14th. 

The driver of the e-scooter, a man in his 40s, was taken to the Mater Hospital for non-critical injuries.

The car involved failed to remain at the scene and the driver is yet to come forward. 

Gardaí at Store Street, Dublin 1, are appealing for witnesses to the crash to come forward. 

They are particularly interested in anyone with dash-cam footage who was driving in the area at the time.
