GARDA WHISTLEBLOWER
It's reported today that a high profile Garda whistleblower first raised concerns about alleged behaviour in the force in 2008.
According to the Irish Times, Sergeant Maurice McCabe made allegations which were investigated separately by the Gardai and the Garda Ombudsman Commission.
It follows reports at the weekend that a new female Garda whistleblower has come forward.
Issues she has raised are in addition to a new dossier which reportedly contains 200 fresh allegations that will be given to the Taoiseach.

JIMMY SAVILE
In the UK, the High Court will hear a compensation claim today from more than 130 abuse victims of Jimmy Savile.
They want payouts of up to 60 thousand pounds each from his estate - most of which the DJ had left to the charitable trust he set up.
Liz Dux is the lawyer representing some of Savile's victims - she says their claims are entirely justified.
