Bacon and cheese fries with your petrol? Well that combination is getting closer.
Topaz has announced a €11.4m investment which will see them introduce Eddie Rocket's to 40 forecourts nationwide.
The rollout, to be called Rocket’s by Eddie Rocket's, will take place over a seven year period and create 45 jobs this year.
The first outlet has been launched at Topaz in Douglas, Co Cork - and sites at Dublin Port and Brennanstown, Co Wicklow will be following suit before the end of 2015.
A further 15 outlets will be rolled out during 2016.
Topaz says the concept has been designed with forecourts in mind, and will offer customers an innovative dining experience.
It says all menu options are freshly made-to-order with a speedy service.
Emmet O'Neill, Topaz CEO, said: "This year has been a big year for Topaz, with the roll out of our Re.Store concept across Ireland - the addition of Rocket's will further set us apart".
"We had been looking for the perfect fast casual offer and we've found it. Rocket’s is bang on trend and exactly where we want to drive our business".
Niall Fortune, owner at Eddie Rocket's, added: "We are delighted to be able to bring our food to customers all around Ireland with Topaz, and are very excited to have opened the first location at the Topaz Service Station, Douglas, Co Cork last week".
