Emergency services in England are attempting to rescue a man who is dangling from an almost 90-metre tall chimney.
Images from the area show a man seemingly hanging upside down from the top of Dixon's Chimney in Carlisle, Cumbria.
Police were called to the area at around 2:20am this morning, but they have been unable to rescue him due to his "precarious position".
Emergency services have been working to safely resolve situation at Dixons chimney, inc use of helicopter. However, rescue has not been possible due to the precarious position man is in and the potential for backdraft to worsen situation.

John McVay of Cumbria Fire and rescue explained: “This is a very complex and difficult process given the obvious dangers to the man and the extreme difficulty in gaining access to him in a way which will keep him and emergency services safe.
“I can assure the public that the emergency services are working tirelessly and effectively together to resolve this issues safely for all and that the protection of life is our first priority."
Road closures are in place, and police are appealing for anybody with a cherry picker "in excess of 90 metres" to contact them.
