Eight men have been arrested in connection with the alleged false imprisonment of a woman in Dublin last night.

Gardaí said the incident happened at a property on Bolton Street and the injured woman is in her 30s.

The men, who are in their 20s, 30s, 50s and one who is a juvenile, are being questioned at Garda stations in Dublin; they can be held for up to 24 hours.
