An elderly man has died in a Wexford car crash.
This collision took place on the busy N25 which connects Wexford Town and Rosslare as commuters were making their way home from work yesterday.
The victim died when the car he was driving was involved in a four vehicle collision at Orristown near Killinick at around 5.15pm.
His body was taken to University Hospital Waterford for a post-mortem exam while there were no other injuries.
The road will remain partially closed this morning while an examination of the scene will be carried out.
Road users who have camera footage of the incident are asked to get in touch with Gardaí.
So far, 18 people had died on Irish roads so far in 2025, down from 30 during the same period last year.
