Six e-motorbikes, 20 e-scooters and six e-bikes were seized in a major crackdown on criminal activity by Gardaí yesterday.
Gardaí also seized one motorbike, 19 shotgun cartridges, designer goods valued at over €9,000, €3,410 in cash and drugs worth €575.
The seizure was part of Operation Meacán, which targets modes of transport suspected of being used in criminal activity.
Authorities believe criminals in Dublin are using e-scooters and e-bikes for drug distribution, money laundering, transporting weapons, drug-related intimidation and other illegal activity.
Gardaí say suspected criminals drive e-bikes and e-scooters on footpaths, laneways and in parks to avoid detection.
During a Day of Action yesterday, Gardaí searched 24 properties following warrants.
The seized shotgun cartridges will now be sent for forensic and ballistic analysis.
No arrests have been made at this time and investigations are ongoing.
