It’s that time of year again, Electric Picnic – the festival annually held in late August/early September.
The 3 day event is held in Stradbally Hall, Stradbally, Co. Laois and this year marks the festival’s ninth anniversary.
Electric Picnic, shortened to EP is already trending on Twitter in the lead up to headliners The Killers, Hot Chip, Elbow, The Cure, Christy Moore, The XX, Orbital and Sigur Rós.
The much anticipated festival will mark the biggest gathering of both Irish and international acts this year with the withdrawal of Oxegen.
Electric Picnic is more than just concerts – families are welcome, there is a science tent, arts and theatrics, body and soul and a comedy section – so there really is something for everyone.
