The main act for Electric Picnic is set to be announced next month, organisers have said.
The three-day festival in Stradbally, Co Laois has been moved to August from September to accommodate specific artists.
Festival Republic Managing Director Melvin Benn told Moncrieff moving the event is something they've just had to do.
"It's caused a lot of chat locally with the farmers, and we're sort of settled with all of them," he said.
"The planning that has to be changed with all of our teams, and other shows they would have been working on, we have definitely got our head around it.
"We've had to, because the planning that's involved in changing is very significant".
Mr Benn said the main act will be revealed very soon.
"In that I said that in September and it's February now, and the show's in August, we're definitely closer to that reality," he said.
"We're probably going to announce next month, actually".
Mr Benn said the 2025 festival will move back to its regular September slot.
It comes as organisers announced this year's main stage will be connected to the grid and powered by renewable energy.
It marks the first time a festival of its kind in Ireland or the UK will install mains power to reduce its carbon footprint.
Organisers are submitting a planning application for a substation and if successful work will begin later this year.
This 2024 Electric Picnic will run from Friday August 16th to Sunday August 18th, with tickets already sold out.
