The organisers of Electric Picnic have warned festival goers that there may be “potentially dodgy pills circulating onsite”. Festival organisers have urged the crowd of roughly 35,000 festival goers to “be very careful”. The festival, at Stradbally in Co. Laois, continues until tomorrow night.
The announcement was made via the festival’s official Twitter account and Facebook page.
The death of a 20 year old man, in the early hours of this morning, has marred the festival. Earlier today festival organisers announced that the young man had a pre-existing heart condition and his death is not believed to be linked to pills warning.
There may be some potentially dodgy "Blue Ghosts/Casper" pills circulating onsite. We URGE you Picnickers to be VERY CAREFUL, stay safe.
