class="MsoNormal">Enda who was long famed for his loyalty to the old fashioned Nokia 6310 handset seems to have upgraded recently to an iPhone.

class="MsoNormal">He has been spotted with the gadget at the All-Ireland on Sunday and now pictures have emerged of him with the Pope in Italy last week playing with the phone.

class="MsoNormal">

class="MsoNormal">In fact when everyone else stood to acknowledge Pope Benedict at the end of his address Mr. Kenny was unable to applaud because the phone was in his hand.

class="MsoNormal">

class="MsoNormal">Now the Irish Catholic newspaper has blasted his behaviour calling it ‘rude’.

class="MsoNormal">

class="MsoNormal">Mr. Kenny was part of a delegation from the Christian Democrat International political grouping which met with the Pope last week.

class="MsoNormal">

class="MsoNormal">In video footage he is seen to be thumbing through his phone throughout the speech of Pope Benedict XVI.
