The third and last of the energy credits will hit households from this Friday.
It was announced last year that domestic electricity customers would get €450 off their electricity bills.
The credit is paid in three instalments of €150: December 2023, January 2024 and March 2024.
The Commission for the Regulation of Utilities (CRU) is overseeing the scheme.
Switcher.ie energy expert Eoin Clarke said some people may see the credit later, depending on their billing cycle.
"Households will receive the third credit from this Friday; however, you could receive your bill as late as April, he said.
"So, note your usual billing date and check your supplier’s website for more information."
Hardship funds
New figures from the CRU reveal around one-in-10 homes are behind on electricity payments, with one-in-five behind on their gas bills.
"The third and final credit will hopefully provide some relief, and if you’re in arrears, any money owed on your account will automatically be reduced," Mr Clarke said.
"Many suppliers have also set up hardship funds to help those in trouble, so talk to your supplier if you need to and try to work out a solution."
Mr Clarke said any renters who may not have seen the credit passed down from a landlord account holder "can raise the issue with the Residential Tenancies Board".
Suppliers have also announced another round of price cuts with bigger discounts for new customers.
A scam alert has been issued to warn people about receiving text messages that tell them to click on a link to claim the energy credit. These texts link to a fake site that looks like gov.ie.
The Government has said it is not offering any such scheme and people are warned not to click on the link or enter any personal details.
