Flogas has become the latest energy company to announce it will reduce prices.
From March 25th customers will see a 25% reduction in the variable rate for natural gas and a 15% reduction in the variable rate for electricity.
The company has said this amounts to a yearly reduction of €274 on the average electricity bill, and €429 on the average natural gas bill.
Dual fuel customers could save up to €703 annually, it said.
Standing charges for natural gas will also reduce by 10% for variable tariffs.
Flogas has said its fixed Smart rate and variable Smart rate tariffs will remain unchanged, as will electricity standing charges.
Details of the price change will be included with natural gas and electricity bills from this month and the change will take effect from March 25th.
Flogas last decreased its prices in November when it cut its gas and electricity prices by 30% each.
It is the second time the supplier has reduced its prices in just over four months.
The cuts follow recent reductions from Energia, Bord Gáis Energy and Electric Ireland.
