Engineering firm Jacobs is to create 200 new jobs in Ireland over the next two years.
The company - which already employs 1,100 people across the Republic and Northern Ireland - plans to fill the positions in Cork, Dublin and Belfast.
The announcement was made this morning as it unveiled a €4.5 million investment in its office in Cork.
It comes as the company marks 45 years in Ireland, having opened its first operation outside the US in Dublin in 1974.
Welcoming the announcement, Agriculture Minister Michael Creed said: "Today’s announcement of 200 jobs, across the island of Ireland is testimony to their continued success and reflects the world-class expertise and offering they bring to national and global clients.
"It is wonderful to see the company go from strength to strength in Cork. I wish Jacobs continued growth and success.”
Jacobs says it provides "end-to-end solutions" for infrastructure, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, data centres and manufacturing clients.
The firm's headquarters are in Texas, and it has operations in Dublin, Cork and Belfast.
