Italian composer Ennio Morricone has died at the age of 91.
The 91-year-old is believed to have died from complications after a fall that broke his leg.
Morricone wrote more than 400 original film scores – including the ‘The Good, the Bad and the Ugly,’ ‘The Untouchables’ and ‘The Hateful Eight.’

Morricone began writing music at the age of six and went on to win two Oscars, five Grammy Awards and 16 David Di Donatello Awards – the highest film honour in Italy.
Accepting his 2016 Oscar, the modest composer told the audience: “There is no great music without a great film that inspires it.”
His lawyer Giorgio Assumma said he died in a hospital in Rome early on Monday.
