A dog who made headlines after travelling from Kildare to Dublin by train has been reunited with his owners.
The pooch, who was named Hamish by Irish Rail staff, boarded the 8.46am train at Sallins to Dublin's Heuston Station on Wednesday.
Irish Rail cared for him throughout the day, and he spent the night with a member of staff.
He was then handed over to 'My Lovely Horse' animal rescue.
An identifying feature was that he has only one testicle - however he was not microchipped.
Hamish update!
🎉 His owners have been found!
🐶 His real name is Tyson!
🍟 He’s getting chipped by @MyLovelyHorseR so if he goes a wandering again, he can be found

He was subsequently microchipped by the animal rescue group, before being reunited with his family.
It was then revealed his real name was actually Tyson.
'My Lovely Horse' have said they were 'overwhelmed' with enquires for him.
Ted Maher from 'My Lovely Horse' said earlier: "As a rescue, we have to chip him before we hand him back.
"He's now chipped - so I'll be giving them a good talk about the importance of chipping your dog.
"This could have been all easily avoided.
"He's fast asleep in the chair, it's not phasing him at all", Mr Maher laughed.
"The owner got in touch through Facebook - it was an unusual story because we had three people [who] came forward looking for him.
"We asked for proof of ownership: the other two backed off and one owner came through with photographs of the dog.
"He's on his way to his original owner".
