Regina Doherty and Eoin Ó Broin will each present a show on Newstalk this week.
Ó Broin will take over from Kieran Cuddihy on The Hard Shoulder's Tuesday show, and Doherty will host the slot on Wednesday.
Doherty is a Fine Gael politician and Leader of the Seanad.
She previously served as the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection, as well as the Government Chief Whip.
Eoin Ó Broin is a TD for Dublin Mid-West and the Sinn Fein spokesperson for Housing, Local Government and Heritage.
He's also the author of 'The Dignity of Everyday Life - Celebrating Michael Scott's Busáras', which was published earlier this year.
The Hard Shoulder airs every weekday afternoon from 4 to 7pm for a round-up of the day’s events, interviews with the people at the centre of the stories – and a bit of craic along the way.
