The Electricity Supply Board (ESB) will be sentenced in March in relation to a work place incident which led to the death of an employee.
Shane Conlon (22) from Santry in Dublin died after being electrocuted at an ESB substation in Finglas on January 15th 2013.
Judge Martin Nolan set a sentence date of March 9th next when full facts will be heard.
The company has pleaded guilty to failing in its duty to ensure the safety of an employee.
The charge states that the ESB, with an address at Lower Fitzwilliam Street, Dublin 2, failed to manage and conduct maintenance work on an indoor 38kw cubicle T142 in such a way as to ensure so far as was reasonably practicable the safety, health, and welfare at work of their employees.
It says that there were no visual warning signs or flag placed inside the cubicle to warn employees working there that there was live electrical apparatus overhead.
