Lorry with 39 bodies discovered in UK 'registered to Irish-owned company'
The Bulgarian Foreign Affairs Ministry says a lorry, in which 39 people were found dead in the UK, was registered in Bulgaria by a company owned by an Irish citizen.

A woman who killed her three-year-old daughter last year has been found not guilty of her murder by reason of insanity.
She has now been committed to the Central Mental Hospital where medical experts will decide on the best course of action for her.

Irish Water issued the warning to 600,000 people in parts of Dublin, Kildare and Meath on Tuesday.
The utility said a mechanical fault at the Leixlip Water Treatment Plant had “compromised the disinfection process.”

Up to 320 people are set to lose their jobs at the Novartis pharmaceutical plant in Co Cork.
Management at the Swiss company announced the decision in a staff meeting at the Ringaskiddy plant on Wednesday morning.
In a statement, it said it was closing one of its production buildings at the site and would be moving a number of global services roles from Cork to centralized operations centers in Europe and Asia.
