US Democrats reveal two impeachment charges against Donald Trump
Democrats have unveiled two impeachment charges against US President Donald Trump.
The American leader is accused of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
Jerrold Nadler, chairman of the US House Judiciary Committee, said Mr Trump "sees himself as above the law".
Calls for Government to broaden commission into public service broadcasting
The Independent Broadcasters of Ireland (IBI) says any commission on the future of public service broadcasting must include more than RTÉ.
The Government is to set up a Commission on the Future of Irish Public Service Broadcasting as a direct response to a revised strategy by the State broadcaster.
It is to will review the current approach and make recommendations on setting a new strategic direction for public service broadcasting provided at national, regional and local level.
Government agrees draft law to begin excavation of Tuam Mother and Baby site
The Government has agreed to draft new laws, allowing for the excavation of the former Tuam Mother and Baby Home site in Co Galway.
The legislation will also allow for the remains to be exhumed and DNA testing to be carried out to try and identify the babies.
It has been confirmed the Sisters of Bon Secours, who ran the home, will pay €2.5m towards the cost.

A dentist who helped a victim of domestic abuse after treating her in his practice has told Sean Moncrieff that women need to be able to speak out.
Tipperary man Padraig O'Reachtagáin was named the Caring Dentist of the Year.
He opened his practice on a Saturday morning to treat the woman with a broken tooth, which he realised was a result of trauma.
'Roxette' singer Marie Fredriksson dies aged 61
Marie Fredriksson, the lead singer of Swedish pop group Roxette, has died.
She was 61-years-old.
Her management says she died on Monday morning following a 17-year long battle with cancer.
