Trump arrives for Vietnam summit with Kim Jong-Un
The US President Donald Trump has arrived in Vietnam for his second summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un.
The two men will sit down for talks in the northern city of Hanoi tomorrow.
Mr Kim arrived in the city to throngs of flag-waving crowds earlier this morning.
Man seriously injured after being shot at retail park in Drogheda
Gardaí say they believe this afternoon's shooting in Drogheda, Co Louth is related to a local gang feud.
It happened at around 2:45pm this afternoon.
A man in his 30s is being treated in hospital for serious injuries following the shooting at the M1 Retail Park.
Revenue delays planned VAT hike on food supplements
Revenue has announced that it's delaying the planned hiking of the VAT rate on food supplements.
Officials announced in December last year that 23% VAT would be applied on all food supplements from March 1st 2019.
It would represent a 23% increase, as there is currently no VAT rate on food supplements sold in Ireland.
Revenue is now delaying it until November while a review of the tax on supplements is being carried out.
UK Parliament to be offered vote on no-deal Brexit
The UK Parliament will be offered the chance to vote for a 'no-deal' Brexit if it refuses to support the withdrawal agreement.
Speaking in the House of Commons, UK Prime Minister Theresa May said MPs will be offered a "meaningful vote" on the deal on March 12th, "at the latest."
She said that if that fails, the House will be asked if it supports leaving the EU without a deal will be held on March 13th.
Should that be rejected, MPs will offered a March 14th vote on a "short, limited" extension to the Brexit process.
Debate on no-deal Brexit omnibus bill gets underway in Dáil
The Dáil has started debating mammoth legislation to prepare Ireland for a no-deal Brexit.
The bill, published last week, is one of the largest and most wide-ranging pieces of legislation to ever go before the Oireachtas.
It's designed to maintain the status quo as much as possible if there's a crash out Brexit in the coming weeks.
