Pakistan's former military ruler Pervez Musharraf has returned home after more than four years in exile, despite death threats against him.
The 69-year-old former dictator says he is prepared to take the risk to stand as a candidate on May 11th, in the country's first ever democratic elections.
As army chief, Musharraf seized power in a bloodless coup in 1999 and left the country after stepping down in August 2008.
