Donal Conway is expected to be reappointed as FAI president today - despite opposition from the Sports Minister and Sports Ireland.

He is the only candidate who'll go before members at today's AGM.

No accounts will be presented at today's AGM in Trim because of ongoing issues.

The US Supreme Court has approved $2.5bn of military funding to be used for a section of Donald Trump's promised wall along the US border with Mexico.

A lower court had previously frozen the Pentagon funds from being used for the project.

The US president tweeted saying "Wow! Big VICTORY" following the Supreme Court decision.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump and Boris Johnson have discussed an "unparalleled opportunity" to strengthen ties between the UK and the US.

The US president said he is already working on a post-Brexit trade deal with the new British prime minister.

He said he has congratulated Mr Johnson and believes the Tory leader is going to do a "great job".

At least eight people have been killed after three earthquakes struck in the Philippines.

The earthquakes hit the province of Batanes within a few hours.

Around 60 people were hurt and many people were in their homes when the earthquakes struck.

The Philippine seismology agency said the quakes measured 5.4 and 5.9, while a third quake with a magnitude 5.7 struck on Saturday.

Two people have died and several others were injured after the upper floor of a South Korean nightclub collapsed.

There were about 300 people in the venue when the floor gave way around 2am local time in the city of Gwangju.

Most of those in attendance were athletes competing at the World Aquatics Championships.

The two people who died were South Koreans, and are not believed to have been competitors in the championships.
