Dozens more people have died in Israel’s latest strikes on Gaza, local officials estimate.
Among the casualties are the family of Dr Mahmoud Abumarzouq, a surgeon who lives and works in Ireland.
“My sister’s family has been attacked by the Israeli occupation force by their missiles,” he told The Hard Shoulder.
“So, all her children in the house have been killed in the tragedy.
“She’s been transferred to the hospital; she’s been left with multiple injuries to her head.”
The United Nations is set to reduce its presence in the territory following the death of a number of its staff operating there.
Since the conflict began, an estimate 50,000 people have died.
Last week, Israel's Ambassador to Ireland said the strikes are necessary due to Hamas’ “ongoing violations” of the ceasefire agreement.
