Colin Farrell is set to produce and star in a movie about homeless men taking part in a soccer tournament.

The Star tells us that the movie is currently under the working title of The Homeless World Cup.

The actor has worked with the foundation, which helps those without a fixed abode compete in a world street soccer tournament between 73 countries.

He narrated a documentary called Kicking It about the tournament four years ago.

Now, Farrell is working with the same producer that brought us In Bruges, which they would hope to get into production by the start of 2013.
