Michael Fassbender and Domhnall Gleeson have apparently signed up to appear in a musical comedy called Frank.

Michael Fassbender is due to play an off-the-wall musician and Domhnall Gleeson will play a young man who joins his band ‘Frank’.

The film has Dublin-born director Lenny Abrahamson at the helm.

It’s a Film 4 and Irish Film Board production and is due to start shooting later this year.
