Gardai are appealing for information after the father of Irish and Leinster Rugby star Eoin Reddan was held up and robbed by at least one man in his Limerick home.
Don Reddan was at his home in Ballycummin near Raheen when an armed man burst in at around 10:30pm last night.
Mr. Reddan owns an insurance company.
Gardai are describing it as a "serious aggravated burglary". It is believed Mr. Reddan was tied up and held for around two hours.
A small sum of cash was stolen.
Gardai at Roxboro Road are appealing for anyone who saw any suspicious activity on the Old Patricswell Road between 10:30pm last night and 12:30am this morning to contact them.
