The father of Peter-Darragh Quinn says he supports the decision by his son to evade a 3-month prison sentence.

Peter-Darragh did not show up for a sentencing hearing 2 weeks ago for contempt of court orders for deliberately putting overseas Quinn Group assets beyond the reach of the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation (IBRC) or the former Anglo Irish Bank.

The well-known GAA personality and businessman Peter Quinn is accusing the Irish government and the former bank of a conspiracy against the Quinn family.

Speaking to Shannonside-Northern Sound Peter Quinn outlined why his son decided to flee across the border.
