A father and son have drowned in a tragedy at a lake in Co Donegal.
Emergency services recovered the bodies from Lough Keel, outside Kilmacrennan, this evening.
Gardaí confirmed those who died were a man in his 40s and a teenage boy.
The alarm was raised shortly before 3pm, with gardaí and the Coast Guard launching a rescue operation.
Local councillor John O'Donnell says a father and two sons were on a fishing boat on the lake when they fell into the water.
One of the sons - also a teenager - was rescued, and he has now been taken to hospital.
The family is believed to be from outside the country and had been visiting the area.
The bodies of the father and son have now been taken to Letterkenny University Hospital, where post-mortems are expected to take place tomorrow.
