Female IRA assassin Rose Lynch has been jailed for life for the murder of David Darcy in Ballyfermot 2 years ago.
For the second time the 50 year-old from Oakleigh Wood in Limerick shouted "Tiocfaidh ar la" as she was led from Court. The sentence hearing was told Lynch wrongly believed her victim was responsible for the death of a member of the Continuity IRA.
'Cowards' is how the Darcy family described Lynch and other members of the Continuity IRA following the sentencing today. In imposing a life sentence on the Limerick woman the Court described Mr. Darcy as an innocent victim of an appauling crime.
Ms. Justice Elizabeth Dunne noted Lynch has not shown any single expression of remorse for the calculated and cold blooded murder.
Henry Darcy appealed for more information on others connected to his son's murder, adding "The people who died in 1916 - they must be turning in their graves at these cowboys".
While Rose's father Joe spoke to reporters outside court.
