A Fianna Fáil senator wants to take action against seagulls.
Ned O'Sullivan says 'raucous' and 'cheeky' birds are causing hassle for people.
He says people who live in apartment blocks are being plagued by the birds - and something must be done.
And he is demanding that the new environment minister Alan Kelly examine the options available.
Senator O'Sullivan explained to Newstalk Lunchtime why he is calling for an 'action plan' against the seagulls.
It comes after people in Dunmore, Co Waterford reported that a seagull named 'Jonathan' has allegedly been seen swooping, dive-bombing and causing general mischief along the Dunmore Road.
