The Fine Gael party's called on the Minister for Health to explore banning the sale of cigarettes in every pub, hotel, off-licence and supermarket where alcohol is sold.
At the Fine Gael Ard Fheis in Dublin last night, Health Minister James Reilly also vowed to fight tobacco companies on plain pack cigarettes.
Today the party focuses on the economy, jobs and even a call for the legalisation of cannabis.
